|
Panormo is a historical and traditional village, 19 km east of Rethymno, on the north coast. It is the homonymous city that ancient poet Homer mentions. Visitors can see the ancient Venetian fortress and a church of 10th century. Panormo is also a quiet fishing village with a little harbour. The surrounding beaches offer sandy bays to visitors, where they can enjoy sea-sports. |
