Each year of the last weekend on March, Delight Saving Time comes into effect in Cyprus and all clocks are advanced by one hour.

1.       Dry-cleaning takes usually two days. Fast dry-cleaning and quick-wash-and-dry services are also available on the island. Dry-cleaners are located in the central part of each town, and they can be traced thought the yellow pages of the Cyprus Telephone Directory. Most dry-cleaning have pick-up and home delivery services.

2.      Most hotels have laundry service for hotel residences. In case laundry service is not provided by certain hotels, arrangements can be made through the hotel Reception. The same arrangements also apply to the Dry-cleaning service.

a)      Larnaka and Pafos International Airports have duty-free shops selling tobacco products, liquors, perfumery, watches, electrical appliances, etc. The commodities exhibited are available excursively to departing passengers by air.

b)      At Lemesos and Larnaka Ports, there are duty-free shops both inside and outside the ports supplying duty-free commodities exclusively to departing passengers by sea.

c)      Passengers departing by either air or sea can also purchase and export, without entry on the relevant manifest, duty-free commodities ex-private or general bonded warehouses, operating in all towns provided:

i.        the purchase is restricted to two units from each commodity;

ii.       the CIF value of the unit exceeds C£100,00;

iii.     an Export Entry ( Form C14) supported, if the export FOB value exceeds C£1000, by a relevant declaration (Form Ä.Å.1) for exchange control purposes, is produced to the proper Customs officer at the time of the departure.

It should be noted that two or more items which normally constitute one unit may be treated as one commodity.
